Dear Parishioners and Friends:
Mark your calendars! The annual Polish Festival at Our Lady of the Bright Mount Polish Parish in Los Angeles is around the corner and will take place on Sunday, September 29, 2013. We are planning an extravaganza of Polish culture and traditions including entertaining and fun for the whole family.
Polish Festival LA is a celebration of faith and heritage. Our parish is awaiting a brand new addition to the newly renovated church, a statue of the Blessed John Paul II, which was designed and constructed in Poland. Since this year the Catholic Church celebrates the “Year of Faith”, and a vital part of Polish heritage and culture is faith and religion, the appropriate slogan for this year’s festival is Bog Honor Ojczyzna or God Honor Country.
We are planning an exciting program for Polish Festival LA 2013 and invite you to check out our Internet pages for the latest updates and schedules:
Last but certainly not least, enclosed you will find two booklets of 11 tickets for the annual raffle that is held during the Festival. The tickets are $2 each or one booklet (11 tickets) for $20. The prizes are wonderful – ranging from cash to many others. The raffle is one of our most important fundraisers and our goal is to sell all raffle tickets that we have printed. Please help us reach this goal by purchasing raffle tickets and selling them amongst your friends, coworkers and neighbors.
We extend the warmest Polish invitation to you, your family and your friends to attend Polish Festival LA 2013. We look forward to seeing you on Sunday, September 29th.
God Bless You,
Fr. Rafał Dyguła, SChr
